Women Buy Gifts For Pets and Bosses: Survey

It was always assumed that women love to buy gifts for their better halves and themselves. Well the myth has been proved wrong after it has been established after conducting a study, the truth is, women usually end up buying gifts for their bosses and pets, rather than their husbands or boyfriends. This piece of information is considerably new for people.
Out of the women who were interviewed, 50 percent of the women said that they had 100 Pounds in their income and two third of them spent a lot on their kids and bought gifts for them. But a lot of them-10 percent- spent a lot on their pets and bosses according to fashion retailers Peacocks.
Only one percent of the women spent their money in buying gifts for their boyfriends and husbands. According to Lisa Bond, Peacocks' marketing director, "The latest research shows that when it comes to treating their family, mothers are more likely to buy gifts for their pets than their husbands."

These day people shop online for gifts; the internet has become the marketplace. So people like to shop for gifts there. Deal sited mean differently for different businessmen; all the same, a study or survey from PriceGrabber, which is a part of Experian, depicts that 59 percent of consumers use a daily deal sites to buy gifts for holidays or for special occasions.
Out of all the people surveyed, 60% people say that they buy Christmas or Hanukkah gifts through these sites. Also, 59% people stated that they use these sites to buy gifts for birthdays whereas 23% said that they bought gifts for anniversaries. Also it was found that 31% consumers purchased one to four deals a month whereas 15% purchased one or more every week.
Most people who were surveyed did not want to see savings. Also Vinicuis Vancanti posted in TechCrunch that to make people shop for more gifts, websites need to offer better deals and incentives to the customers.

The cheapest item on the list is the Amazon Kindle at 111 Pounds and it is second in line in the most wanted Christmas gift of the year. The costliest Christmas gift is the Sony's CA Series laptops being sold at 645 Pounds. The most wanted Christmas gift list is as follows: the iPad2, Kindle, DeLonghi Icona Espresso Maker, Nintendo 3DS, Blackberry PlayBook, iPod, Sony PlayStation Tablet TBC, Beats by Dr Dre headphones, Sony CA Series, Microsoft Kinect.
